Thanks Max for using my 2.0 home-made logo, and linking to the file, it's a nice touch. As 2.0 and web naming goes, you could also check http://visionarymarketing.wordpress.com/2008/06/09/social-media/ for the almost 2-year announcement of the end of web 2.0. ... not that I believe that this bears any importance, but one admit that the "social media" label is now well and truly adopted by all.

For a bit of hindsight on why it's (was) called 2.0, and what it means/meant you could also read http://visionarymarketing.wordpress.com/2007/07/03/web20/

And last but not least, the updated 2010 version (top 10 tips for social media implementation): http://visionarymarketing.wordpress.com/?s=top+10+tips+implement+social+media

I’m not even sure the experience investors think they’re buying is the right kind of experience. I know this from my own career. Like the PayPal entrepreneur, part of my interest in a second startup was a shot at being CEO. This means that what I used to be really good at — designing software — I don’t do as much of anymore, and what I never had to learn how to do — manage people – I now do all the time.

Interesting overview of the changes that are taking place. Personally I'd say the biggest revolution could possibly take place in politics. It's unfortunate that Howard Dean flamed out so early in the race (and to such a trivial issue that was highlighted by the main stream media).
