This is awesome. I love the Daily Show. I wish I'd found this article before the election though. I've got some red state family members who would have enjoyed(?) it.

Great post, Max. Spot on.

I agree with you, AvangionQ--at what point will we actually take actions about how things are? Are we frogs, cooking to death on a slowly-heating pot? I've not ruled out Canada...

The only problem with shows like this is that it makes people laugh when it should make them outraged and *angry* by the sheer volume of crimes and scandals foisted against them by those hiding behind the power of politics ...

GREAT post. You hit the nail on the head about the true functions of TDS/TCR, and your analysis of how it's reflected in social media is spot on. Nice work.

OMG that is absolutely brilliant! I couldn't agree more. I think it's insulting that the election has turned into, "who can create a better ad campaign" What about the freakin' issues? There are real issues in this election but both sides just want to throw mud at one another while placing their own candidates on a pedestal. I don't know whether to laugh or cry that the only true insight in this election is coming from social media...twitter, digg, blogs, etc.
