Tweetdeck makes the rounds as the latest Twitter client. We liken it to commanding the bridge of the U.S.S. Twitterprise. Rumors swirl (or twhirl) about Microsoft acquiring Mahalo and Twitter snapping up Summize. Multiple members of the U.S. Congress join the Twitter conversation and take social media to Washington D.C., just as spammers enter the fray. The G8 agrees on climate change, but that’s about all, and carbon offsets find themselves in no-man’s land between skeptical greens on one side and deniers on the other. Democratic nominee Barack Obama needs a football stadium for his acceptance speech.
