It’s been a rough and tumble week for the microblogging and lifestreaming service. Robert Scoble scored a live video interview with the founders, who explained what was going on with all of the outages. It’s going to take some time to work it all out. Many experimented with competing service Plurk, though most were not impressed enough to make it a habit. We’re big fans of BrightKite as an alternative, which has Twitter-like messaging built in to the platform. The problem is that it’s still in private beta.
