Saw Kelly on the Today show and loved the moisterizing soap balm. I searched intensely for the recipe on the Today site but no luch. I would love to make a try at it for Mothers Day gifts. Could you send me the recipe?

Kelly is great. She got right back to me. Here's her response to my questions:

"For the first year, we'll most likely focus on the print version but I'm interested in developing an on-line edition eventually with a resource like zinio. In the meantime, we print on paper with recycled content, we're using soy-based ink and the magazines that don't sell will be recycled by the distributors. We're also planning on looking at whatever carbon footprint is associated with printing and transportation and I'll offset those emissions through carbonfund.org."

So, for now, I am subscribing to her mag, looking forward to making the switch to the digital format in the near future. Thanks, Kelly!

"The profound contrast between this post and the last was somewhat intentional."
I think it's a great way to highlight the different forces playing on the same time. Very diverse human needs come together in green thinking.

I have Positively Green Magazine on my PG wishlist. I'm waiting for a response from Kelly. I've asked her if I can subscribe to a digital format, either at www.positivelygreen.com or www.zinio.com. For those that prefer home/office delivery, I've asked about the paper and ink used in the publication. I'll let you know what I find out.
