Bicycle for a Day aka BFAD

April 9th, 2008 by admin · No Comments

Matthew Modine has a new initiative that will be, ahem, rolling out this summer and fall. We learned about from Twitter.

Bicycle for a Day “is a fun, open and proactive invitation designed to inspire individuals, communities, governments and corporations to take a step towards solving the current environmental issues. BFAD is a global initiative bringing together people who choose to ride a bicycle rather than use gas-powered motor vehicles. Bicycling is one way to immediately reduce your carbon footprint.”

We’re huge fans of cycling for fitness, transportation, competition (Go Lance!), recreation, and saving the planet. There aren’t too many things that you can say that about. Adding another fine quality, check out this very cool new trike. Stay in shape, filter and transport water. Imagine how much water you could purify in a single Spinning class!
